What is Selz?
Selz is an ecommerce platform that allows you to sell physical and digital products from a single dashboard. Selz offers the same features and functionality that you might be familiar with iZettle Ecommerce, with a wealth of new features included at the same price.
What’s the difference between Selz and iZettle Ecommerce?
iZettle Ecommerce was powered by Selz, so it will remain very similar to using iZettle. But, Selz offers more features, including 24/7 support and options to add staff accounts, as well as ongoing updates and feature releases.
Can I access new features on Selz?
New features can be accessed when you have migrated and switched billing to Selz. New features include Google Shopping, Staff Accounts, Instagram Shopping, Custom Receipts, and more.
How do I switch to Selz?
When the new integration is launched in January 2021, you will need to click to access Selz from the iZettle Ecommerce page. You’ll be taken to Selz and asked to set a password, you’ll then access Selz directly from then onward, rather than from iZettle.
How do I access Selz?
Once a Selz password has been set, you will have access to Selz from the Selz dashboard, which will take the place of the iZettle Ecommerce dashboard.
What happens to my iZettle Ecommerce account?
Your iZettle Ecommerce account will switch to the Selz interface, and your iZettle Ecommerce account will cease to exist, becoming a Selz account.
What happens to my products, store, settings and existing integrations?
Everything in your existing store will remain the same: products, settings, store and integrations.
How does billing work?
Once a password has been set you will still be billed by iZettle. To access new features, you will need to switch billing to Selz.
How do I switch billing to Selz?
This will occur automatically once you choose a Selz plan. Billing will show up on bank records as being billed by Selz.
How much does Selz cost?
For users migrating from iZettle Ecommerce, Selz will offer a special discount. Those who migrate will receive a Selz Advanced plan at a price of $29USD/month for 12 months. iZettle merchants will have until the 28th February 2021 to redeem this offer.
What if I’m still billed by iZettle?
Contact iZettle support if you continue to be billed by iZettle after switching.
Can I still process payments with iZettle?
Yes. You will still have access to iZettle online payment processing with no change.
Will I still be able to process payments with Klarna?
Yes. Additionally, Selz users will have access to Klarna via orders processed using iZettle. There are slight differences between how our other payment processors work and how Klarna works:
- Klarna only processes payment once the order is shipped by a merchant. If a customer order is not shipped within a set time period, Klarna will cancel the transaction and notify the merchant.
- Canceled orders will show up as "Canceled" status within the platform. This is unique to Klarna orders.
What currencies can I process payments in?
You can only process payments in the currency that matches your iZettle account.
How do I manage my ecommerce products?
Your products will be synced from iZettle to Selz automatically. Products for sale online can then be managed within Selz.
Does Selz offer more product management features?
Within Selz, you will have access to more advanced product management features like the ability to duplicate products, set sale prices, import/export features, SEO management, and more.
Do I need to reconnect external services and platforms such as Facebook?
No, all external services and platforms will remain connected after the migration.
