Taking Stripe payments
Selz now supports existing Stripe accounts, which makes setting up a transactional gateway for your store even easier than ever before.

What countries is Stripe available in?
Setting up payments using Stripe
- Login to Selz, and go to Settings > Checkout
- Make sure the payment tab is selected, and navigate to the Stripe block
- Click “Connect to Stripe”
- You’ll be taken to a form that you’ll need to fill out to connect and authorize your Stripe account
- Once you’ve filled out the form, click the “authorize access to this account” button at the bottom, and you’re done!
What information will I need?
- Business address
- Business phone number
- Business type
- Employer Identification Number (EIN)
- Business website
- Description of your business
- The time it takes for your products to arrive to customers
- Personal information about the proprietor of the business (name, address, etc.)
- Bank account information
Issuing a refund with Stripe
- Login to Stripe and process the refund
- Go to your Selz dashboard and navigate to the order that needs refunding
- In the top right of the page, click on the ellipsis button “...”
- Select "Mark Refunded"
- Add the details of your refund so you have a record in your Selz dashboard.
Issuing a dispute with Stripe
- Login to Stripe and respond to the dispute
- If you accept the dispute or if the dispute is lost; go to the Selz dashboard and navigate to the order in question
- In the top right of the page, click on the ellipsis button “...”
- Select "Mark Refunded"
- Add the details of your dispute so you have a record in your Selz dashboard. If you wish, you can also include a note stating that the refund was due to a dispute.
